In 1968, the Gold Prospectors Association of America was formed to protect and preserve the great heritage of the North American prospector. Now, 50 years later, it remains a primary focus of the GPAA that your right to prospect and mine on public lands not be infringed upon.
The American Mining Rights Association (AMRA) is an advocacy association focused on keeping public lands open for everyone to enjoy. AMRA is currently at the forefront of several legal battles that need the support of the mining community. In understanding the importance of their efforts, the GPAA is working to raise $50k toward AMRA's legal fund by donating $50 of every 2 & 3-year GPAA membership and renewal during the month of September.
The largest gold prospecting organization in the world. With a GPAA membership you can meet new friends, learn & teach gold prospecting techniques and have access to GPAA owned claims.
